Poems Born Out of Emotions

Many poems reflect human emotion which the writer experienced at one time or another and wants to express through words. The famous poet William Wordsworth once said that poetry is “the spontaneous overflow of feelings” consisting of “emotion recollected in tranquility.” There is no denying that many poems have a strong emotional influence on them, and often relate to the poets inner most feelings about what they are writing about. Here is a selection of emotionally infused poems that express some of the most common and regularly talked about emotions.

My Greatest Is Fear Gone

My greatest fear is gone
Startles of your hypnotizing eyes, no more haunt my dreams
Oh baby, I can sleep
Although when I wake I find self alone

The garble of my heart is coarse
With time it would turn into stone
Stronger I'll get, the older I'll grow
Mind is so profound and articulation of speech is rare

I don’t care even if you are gone
The forgotten experience has entrenched deep in my soul
The feeling sublimes
Challenges grow tall, Life is long
Though experience is sore
M happy my Greatest Fear Is Gone !

Smile :)

Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through for you

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

The Elixir Of Life

Stumbling upon the uneven roads,
Full of unexpected surprises,
Life is more that what we see.

It’s a sojourn of sentry soul that’s unaware of changes,
Once the experiencing change becomes habit,
Nothing stuns us anymore,
the moments of joy and disappointment dissipates soon,
What remains is the vision of life,
The shackles of emotions become weak,
And we become stronger than ever before.

=============================
Thank you my friends I am still a materialistic being,
Tied to the worldly knot,
Sharing my joys, rigors and like,
Working hard to achieve the mission of life

Body & Soul: The Conflict

When I was'nt born, I was just a soul
Soul that had no emotions
No fear of separation
No love, no lust
Just a pure passion

It was a reincarnation,
I was master of body,
That gave me existence in the materialistic world
I learnt what a smile is, what tears are
Compulsive anger and fear

It wasn't too late
When I discovered - it wasn't the body
But the physce that betrayed me
It was just soul that could'nt master the body
And body is just the test of enlightened soul
The pragmatism and the purity which you behold.

Never Give All The Heart

Never give all the heart, for love
Will hardly seem worth thinking of
To passionate women if it seem

Certain, and they never dream
That it fades out from kiss to kiss;
For everything that's lovely is
But a brief, dreamy, kind delight.

O never give the heart outright,
For they, for all smooth lips can say,
Have given their hearts up to the play.

And who could play it well enoughIf deaf and dumb and blind with love?
He that made this knows all the cost,
For he gave all his heart and lost.
